This classic piece is marked with the Lion representing Sterling Silver, and the date letter which represents the year it was made, and by law is only available for one year. Thus this piece becomes more rare year by year, there being a 26 year wait before this letter can be marked again.

2011 has the mark M. Perfect of course if you are a Mark or a Michael. Or you just want to remember the year.
